Client Accountant - Gozo

What is expected of you?

• Prepare financial statements and maintain accurate accounting records
• Handle bookkeeping duties and day-to-day accounting transactions
• Prepare and manage VAT returns and ensure compliance with local regulations
• Support the audit department with relevant financial documentation and processes
• Analyze financial information and provide financial support/advice to clients
• Maintain organized financial records and ensure accuracy across all reporting
• Collaborate closely with internal teams while maintaining high professional standards

What are you expected to bring?

• Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial reporting
• Knowledge of VAT, taxation, compliance, and regulatory requirements
• Understanding of auditing and assurance processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good knowledge of accounting software and financial tools
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• ACCA qualification, an accounting degree, or a similar finance qualification would be considered an asset
• Knowledge of Maltese financial and tax regulations is highly advantageous
