Full Stack Developer (.NET / C#)

This is an exciting opportunity to work on enterprise-level applications, contributing across desktop development, database architecture, and business-critical systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable solutions while collaborating closely with stakeholders to support business operations and regulatory requirements.

What is expected of you?

Software Development & Architecture

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level client/server applications using C# and the Microsoft technology stack
• Build and maintain robust middle-tier services, APIs, and business logic components using .NET Framework and .NET Core
• Develop secure and efficient client-server communication protocols and application interfaces
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and maintenance
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the application stack

Database Development & Optimisation

• Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases
• Create and optimise database schemas, stored procedures, functions, and queries
• Monitor and improve database performance, scalability, and reliability
• Ensure data integrity, security, and efficient database operations

Application Support & Continuous Improvement

• Provide technical support for ICT-related and regulatory reporting systems
• Create and maintain technical documentation, system specifications, and development standards
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions
• Participate in system enhancements, upgrades, and modernization initiatives
• Support application security, compliance, and best practice implementation

What are you expected to bring?

• Minimum 3 years of experience developing applications using C# and .NET Framework
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, database design, and performance optimisation
• Experience with desktop application frameworks such as WinForms, WPF, or Avalonia
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles and software design patterns
• Familiarity with client/server architecture and MVC or MVVM frameworks
• Strong experience using Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio
• Experience working with version control systems such as Git
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

The following would be considered an asset:

• Experience migrating applications from .NET Framework to .NET 8+ or ASP.NET
• Knowledge of modern front-end technologies such as React
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools
• Previous experience within financial services, investments, securities, capital markets, KYC, or AML environments
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
• Experience with Microsoft 365 technologies, including Advanced Excel, Power Query, VBA, Power Apps, and Power Automate
• Knowledge of XML, HTML, and related markup languages
• Understanding of application security principles and secure development practices
