This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working across the full employee lifecycle while contributing to the development of strong HR practices, policies, and employee engagement initiatives.

Reporting to the Head of HR, you will play a key role in supporting recruitment, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, and HR projects, while helping to strengthen the organisation's people strategy and culture.

What is expected of you?

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Create, review, and update job descriptions in line with evolving business requirements
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies, source new recruitment partners, and review agency agreements
  • Manage the LinkedIn Recruiter licence and proactively source talent across the organisation
  • Screen applications, coordinate interviews, and support hiring managers throughout the selection process
  • Prepare job offers and employment contracts in collaboration with the HR Administration team
  • Support work permit processes where required
  • Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure a positive and seamless new joiner experience
  • Support the implementation and ongoing utilisation of the HRIS platform, particularly Talexio

Offboarding & Employee Lifecycle

  • Manage employee resignation processes and ensure all offboarding procedures are completed effectively
  • Conduct exit meetings and maintain accurate records and feedback documentation
  • Coordinate employee termination updates with HR Administration and Payroll teams
  • Support workforce planning and replacement hiring activities

Employee Relations & Disciplinary Support

  • Assist with disciplinary procedures, including scheduling meetings, preparing documentation, recording minutes, and maintaining accurate records
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations matters in line with company policies and employment legislation

Performance Management

  • Support the preparation and analysis of performance insights to inform promotions, salary reviews, and development planning
  • Partner with managers to facilitate fair and consistent performance review processes
  • Administer Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), monitor progress, and support decision-making on outcomes

Learning & Development

  • Assist in developing and coordinating the company's learning and development initiatives
  • Liaise with external training providers and support training administration activities
  • Assist with Investing in Skills scheme documentation and related processes
  • Prepare training evaluations and follow up with participants on development outcomes

HR Reporting & Projects

  • Prepare monthly HR reports, metrics, and workforce insights
  • Support the monitoring of HR budgets, including recruitment and training expenditure
  • Contribute to HR projects, policy development, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist with the drafting, implementation, and review of HR policies and procedures

Employee Engagement

  • Coordinate employee engagement surveys and analyse feedback
  • Support initiatives designed to enhance employee experience and workplace culture
  • Organise company events, team-building activities, and employee recognition programmes

What are you expected to bring?

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience within a Human Resources role
  • Strong understanding of Maltese Employment Law and HR best practices
  • Experience across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration
  • Experience drafting and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms, preferably Talexio
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of HR initiatives
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and committed to building positive working relationships across the organisation
