Plumbing Senior Installer

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Plumbing Senior Installer to join their growing technical team in Malta. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled plumbing professional looking to take on a senior role within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Reporting to the Plumbing Charge Hand, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and mechanical systems while supervising junior installers and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

What is expected from you?

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing and mechanical systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects
• Carry out general plumbing installation work using a variety of hand and power tools, including heavy-duty equipment where required
• Assist with site preparation, material handling, storage, and checking deliveries
• Supervise, guide, and support junior plumbing installers on site
• Coordinate daily activities with the Plumbing Charge Hand and other trades to ensure projects are completed on time
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation plans
• Identify hazards, defects, or maintenance issues and implement appropriate corrective actions
• Ensure all work complies with company procedures, industry standards, and health and safety regulations
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications
• Report equipment failures, operational issues, or safety concerns to the Line Manager
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Contribute to the efficient day-to-day operation of the plumbing team

What are we looking for?

• Secondary School Certificate (considered an asset)
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in plumbing installation, preferably in a senior or supervisory role
• Good understanding of the construction industry and site-based environments
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, installation techniques, tools, and equipment
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation plans
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Good problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure
• Understanding of health and safety legislation and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
• Physical fitness, including the ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights or in confined spaces
• Valid European passport or the legal right to work in Malta
• Clean Police Conduct Certificate (required prior to employment)
