QC Lab Analyst

Our client is seeking a QC Lab Analyst to join their Quality Control team in Malta. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented laboratory professional who is passionate about quality, accuracy, and working within a regulated environment.

Reporting to the Quality Control function, you will play a key role in ensuring that raw materials, active ingredients, and finished products meet the highest quality standards while supporting the production of safe and reliable products.

The successful candidate will combine strong analytical skills with a meticulous approach, ensuring compliance with GMP requirements and company quality standards while contributing to the continuous improvement of laboratory processes.

What is expected of you?

• Perform sampling, analysis, and testing of incoming raw materials, active ingredients, and finished products in accordance with GMP requirements and approved analytical methods
• Compile, interpret, and accurately document laboratory test results
• Perform equipment calibration, verification, and confirmatory analysis to ensure laboratory accuracy and reliability
• Prepare, review, and maintain laboratory documentation in line with regulatory and company quality standards
• Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other Quality Control documentation where required
• Ensure all laboratory activities comply with GMP guidelines, laboratory safety procedures, and internal quality standards
• Support investigations, continuous improvement initiatives, and quality-related activities within the department
• Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance, Production, and other internal departments to support operational objectives

What are we looking for?

• Diploma or Degree in Chemistry or another relevant scientific discipline
• Previous experience within a laboratory or regulated manufacturing environment will be considered an asset
• Knowledge of GMP principles will be considered an advantage
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality work
