Recruitment Specialist

Our client is on the lookout for a Recruitment Specialist to join their growing HR team in Malta. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive recruitment professional looking to further develop their career within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Working closely with hiring managers across the business, you will play a key role in attracting, assessing, and hiring top talent while delivering an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

Reporting to the HR team, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment activities, building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, maintaining recruitment records, and continuously improving hiring processes to support the organisation's growth.

What is expected from you?

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process, ensuring vacancies are filled with suitable candidates in a timely and efficient manner
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and define suitable candidate profiles
• Prepare, review, and publish engaging job descriptions and advertisements across appropriate recruitment platforms
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, social media, and other recruitment channels
• Screen applications, conduct interviews, assess candidate suitability, and prepare shortlists for hiring managers
• Coordinate interviews and ensure an efficient recruitment process while maintaining a positive candidate experience
• Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process by providing recruitment guidance and ensuring timely feedback and hiring decisions
• Prepare employment offers and coordinate all pre-employment requirements prior to onboarding
• Maintain accurate recruitment records, candidate databases, vacancy trackers, and recruitment documentation
• Prepare regular recruitment reports, monitoring key recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, sourcing effectiveness, recruitment activity, and hiring costs
• Contribute to employer branding initiatives and proactively identify opportunities to attract high-quality talent
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing recruitment efficiency and reducing reliance on external recruitment agencies where possible
• Ensure all recruitment activities are carried out in accordance with company policies, employment legislation, GDPR requirements, and recruitment best practices
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality when handling candidate information and recruitment documentation

  What are they looking for?

• Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a similar HR role
• Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes
• Strong sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills
• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, online job boards, and other recruitment platforms
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously
• A proactive, solution-oriented approach and excellent attention to detail
• Good understanding of recruitment best practices, employment legislation, and GDPR requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
